The Intelligence Bureau (IB) has published a job announcement for the 797 Junior Intelligence Officer (JIO) Grade-II (Technical) Exam 2023. Interested and eligible candidates may apply online for IB JIO Recruitment 2023 starting from 03rd June, 2023 to 23rd June, 2023.

Classification: General Central Service, Group-‘C’ (Non-Gazetted), Non-Ministerial)

i. Diploma in Engineering in the fields of: Electronics or Electronics & Tele-communication or Electronics & Communication or Electrical & Electronics or Information Technology or Computer Science or Computer Engineering or Computer Applications from a Government recognized University/Institute.

ii. Bachelor’s Degree in Science with Electronic or Computer Science or Physics or Mathematics from a Government recognized University/Institute. 

iii. Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Applications from a Government recognized University/Institute.

Pay scale: Level-4 (Rs.25,500-81,100) in the pay matrix (Plus admissible Central Govt. allowances). 

Age limit: Between 18-27 years. Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST and by 3 years for OBC candidates. Upper age limit is relaxable for departmental candidates up to 40 years of age who have rendered 3 years of regular & continuous service.

# It is in 02 components: Examination Fee: Rs.50/- (Rupees Fifty only) & Recruitment Processing Charges: Rs.450/- to be paid as under: -

1. All candidates: Recruitment Processing Charges.

2. Male candidates of UR, EWS and OBC categories: Examination Fee in addition to Recruitment Processing Charges.

(i) Applications should be submitted only through ONLINE registration by logging on to· the website mha.gov.in or ncs.gov.in. Applications with not be accepted through any other mode.

(ii) The application portal will be operational from 03.06.2023 to 23.06.2023 (till 2359 hours): Registration done prior to 03.06.2023 and after 23.06.2023 will not be accepted.

(iii) Candidates can apply for the post provided they fulfil the prescribed eligibility conditions.
