TPSC Recruitment 2023 Overview
Assistant Engineer (Civil/Mechanical)
No. of vacancy: 04 [ST: 02 & UR: 02]
Department: Agriculture and Farmers Welfare.
Qualification: Degree in Agriculture Engineering/Civil Engineering/Mechanical Engineering or its equivalent qualification from a recognized university with at least 2 (two) years’ service experience in the respective field of Engineering under the Government or Government undertaking.
Scale of pay: Rs.15600-39100/- with pre-revised PB-4, Grade Pay of Rs.6600/- pay level 15 of Pay Matrix 2018.
Age limit: 18 to 40 years as on 14.03.2023. Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years in case of ST/ST/PH candidates and Government Servant. Provided that Govt. Employees belonging to ST/SC/PH category shall not get this relaxation over and above the general relaxation of 5 (five) years available to them.
Selection Procedure for Assistant Engineer
The examination shall have the following three parts namely:-
i) Preliminary Examination (MCQ Type) carrying 100 marks.
ii) Main (written) Examination carrying 500 marks.
iii) An Interview-cum-Personality Test carrying 50 marks.
Application Fee of Assistant Engineer
# Group-A Gazetted posts: Rs.400/- (Rupees four hundred) only for General Candidates and Rs.350/- (Rupees three hundred and fifty) only for ST/SC/BPL card holders/Physically Handicapped Candidates. Recruitment fee so deposited is non-refundable.
# SC/ST candidates of other States are not recognized by the Govt. of Tripura should apply for unreserved vacancy as general candidate along with recruitment fee prescribed for general candidates. Recruitment fee so deposited, is non-refundable.
# If a candidate submits incomplete application in respect of terms & condition of the Advertisement and without requisite recruitment fee, his/her candidature will be rejected.
